The Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs. When the Lamb opened the fifth seal, John saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying,“How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed. The cry of the Martyrs who were they? According to Revelation 3: 10 a promise was made to all the believers that keeps the command and persevere; they will not be on earth when the wrath of God come upon the children of disobedient.
The soul under the altar were backsliding believers that got left behind when the church was rapture. God gave them another opportunity to repent and live right and die for the word of God. This is why after they die in the tribulation, they soul when under the altar of God, as for us we were before the throne of God with the twenty-four elders Rev 5: 8-10. The tribulation saints who had been slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held, cry to Jesus in a loud voice, saying, when are you going to judge and avenge our blood and them that dwell on the earth. White robe was given to them, and it was said to them to wait until the others who would be killed like you were, was completed. In the course of the tribulation many will be save and then be beheaded for the word of God. And in Rev 15: 2-3 John saw before the throne of God the tribulation saints that was killed because they didn’t take the mark, or the number of the beast, or his name on they forehead. This is the last group of saints that will be caught up before the throne of God. In Rev 7: 9 John saw a great number of saints before the throne of God, that no one could number from all the nations of the earth. Are you going to be part of the great number before the throne? Well I am. May the Holy Spirit abides in you forever and strength you even unto to death, because it is promise to you that The Holy Spirit will never live you nor forsake you. To Jesus is all the glory. Amen.
