Our beloved apostle John was caught up before the throne of God just like the apostle Paul in 2Cor 12: 1-4. John spirit was in heaven when Jesus spoke to him, he saw Jesus in His glory, His countenance was as the sun shining in his strength, John fell down at His feet as he was dead. Jesus lay His right hand on him, and told him not to fear. I am the first and the last: I am He that was dead and now I am alive forevermore, and that I have the keys of hell and death.
HELL…HELL…HELL… Hell is not an easy belief to accept. Even some seasoned Christian don’t like to talk about it. There is no doctrine which I would more willingly remove from Christianity than this, if it lay in my power. But it has the full support of Scripture, and specially, of Our Lord’s own words; it has always been held by Christendom; and it has the support of reason. Hell is a biblical supported doctrine, has been accepted by the Christian church throughout the centuries, and in his assessment is also reasonable. What surprises some who object to the doctrine of hell is the fact that Jesus had a lot to say in support of the belief. In fact, scholars have determined that Jesus said more about hell than about heaven.
This is the Word of Jesus in Mt 25: 31-43. When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on His left… Then He will say to those on His left,”Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. In Luke 12: 4-5 Jesus told us not to fear anyone that could kill the body, but to fear God after He killed the body has power to cast the spirit into hell. In John 15: 1-6 Jesus warn us believers that we should bear fruit, otherwise the Father will come and cut us of as a branch and cast us into hell fire. In Phil 2: 12-15. Apostle Paul warning to the body of Christ, that they should work out they own salvation with fear and trembling. In Lk 16: 19-31 Jesus said there was a rich man and a beggar named Lazarus, this is not a parable its either Jesus told a lie or He was telling the truth, because He said there was a rich man and a beggar, and He explained what happen to them after death, He said an angel carry they spirit to their destination, one was taken to hell and the other to paradise.
Before Jesus Christ death paradise was in the heart of the earth, this was why Jesus told one of the two thieves today you will Be in paradise with me. Let me make that statement clear for you. All the saints that die looking forward to be sanctify by the blood of the Lamb of God, when to the paradise that was in the heart of the earth. This was why there was a great gulf fixed between paradise and hell, they could see and talk to one another but can’t crossover.
In Ge 22: 6-8 Abraham believe that God was going to provide the Lamb for the sacrifice, in Isaiah 53: 1-12 Isaiah believe in the sacrifice of The Lamb that God was going to provide for our sins, in Luke 2: 25-32 Simeon was a just man that God promise that he will not die till he see the promise salvation, he confessed that he had seen the salvation that God prepare for all people, finally in Lk 23: 39-43 Jesus told one of the thieves because he had confessed Him as Lord, today you will be in paradise with me, when Jesus yield His Spirit He didn’t go to heaven right away but He when to paradise and then hell. Mt 12: 40 Jesus said He would spend three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. In Mt 27: 51-53 after the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord all the saints came out of their grave and went to the holy city people saw them. In John 20: 11-17 Jesus make sure to let us know that He didn’t go to heaven after the crucifixion, He told Marie not to touch Him after His resurrection because He has not yet ascended to the Father, and told her to go and tell my brothers I go now to my Father.
I believe everyone that read the Word of this prophecy and keep them, their name will not be removed from the Book of Life Re. 22: 17-19. But will be bless for ever. May the Holy Spirit enrich your mind with these wonderful words of comfort in Jesus the Almighty God Amen.
