BIG REVELATION ABOUT WATER BAPTISM.
Revelation chapter 19 and 20 bring the climax of the Book of Revelation: the return of Christ to establish His Earthly Kingdom with the saints, and the elect people’s that survive through the great tribulation and enter the millennium. The first five verses show heaven’s response to the judgment of the harlot. The multitude in heaven praises God for judging the great whore (Babylon, the harlot), and avenging the blood of the martyrs (Re 6: 9-11).
Where did all these people standing before the throne of God shouting “Hallelujah” came from? Re 7: 9-12. (First), we have the resurrected saints of the old testament, who came out of their graves after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Mt 27: 52-53. (Second), we have the new testament saints, that will be caught up in the air to be with the Lord 1Th 4: 13-18. Rev 5: 8-10. (Third), the saints under the altar who were slain for the word of God Rev 6: 9-11. (Fourth), the two witnesses of Enoch and Elijah. Rev 11: 3-12. Zech 4: 11-14. The (Fifth), the 144,000 Hebrews Rev 14: 1-5. And the (Sixth), which is the last group of people to be translate before the throne of the Almighty God will be the great tribulation saints, that didn’t accept the mark of the beast on their foreheads or right hands Rev 15: 1-4.
This chapter is one of the most dramatic in all the Bible. In it, the Church, the Bride of Christ, is the guest of honor at the marriage of the Lamb in heaven (verses 1-10), and returns with Christ in His Triumphal Second Coming (verses 11-21). The people mentioned here are distinct from the other beings in heaven, for they are singing a song that includes mention of salvation. In the last chapter, we saw the terrible destruction of commercial and political Babylon symbolized by its capital city of Babylon. Now the scene totally changes to heaven. We hear the voices of the redeemed. This “great voice” here is because of the number of people speaking, that no one could number. It is not the magnitude of each voice. These words of praise here are focused on the Lord Jesus Christ. The redeemed are the ones who are praising. There are not enough adjectives in the dictionary to say enough about what Jesus has purchased for us all. The marriage of the Lamb and the marriage supper of the Lamb “in heaven” (19: 6-9), are evidence of the Church being in heaven prior to the return of Christ to earth. Christ is the Bridegroom at the marriage, and His Church with the new Jerusalem is the Bride. The word “church” (Greek ekklesia), appears nineteen times (in Revelation 1-3), and does not appear again until (Revelation 22: 16), emphasizing the absence of the Church from the earth during the judgments of (Rev. chapters 4-18).
Now when Jesus Christ come back with His heavenly armies including ten thousand saints Jude 14-15. He will defeat Antichrist with his earthly armies. Hebrews 4: 12. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Satan and the Antichrist with his false prophet will be captured and cast in to the lake of fire alive. According to the Bible, the lake of fire is the “second death.” This is the ultimate consequence of sin, which is to be totally cut off from our Holy God. The lake of fire will be a place of perpetual suffering and misery. Scripture indicates that every person whose name is not in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20: 15). The lake of fire will also be the fate of the beast and false prophet from the end times (Revelation 19: 20), as well as Satan himself with all his falling angels and demonic spirits (Revelation 20: 10). The Bible indicates that both death and Hades—the temporary destination of the unsaved dead—will also be cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20: 14). Isaiah 66: 22-24. My prayer is that anyone that had a chance to read these passages, will repent, and make a u-turn from going to the lake of fire. Ask Jesus to save you, He will Mt 14: 30. To Jesus belong all the glory. Amen.
