Isaiah 54: 5. For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. Jeremiah 31: 31-32.“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a “husband” to them, says the Lord. Jeremiah 3: 14“Return, O backsliding children,”says the Lord;“for “I am married to you.”
I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion. Jeremiah 3: 6-8. The Lord said also to me in the days of Josiah the king:“Have you seen what backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and there played the harlot. And I said, after she had done all these things,‘Return to Me.’But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it. Then I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of “DIVORCE;” yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but went and played the harlot also. In Ge 17: 10-11 God made a circumcision covenant with Abraham and his descendent to be one with them.
In Mt 19: 3-9. Jesus said to the Israelites the only cause for divorce is sexual immorality, because in the beginning God made them male and female, and said for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh? This is true of Adam and Eve because they were created sinless in that dispensation, and they were to enter a blood covenant with each other because they were virgins, this is what Jesus was saying, they blood will mingle together in intercourse and the two flesh shall be as one. that was God”DESTINY”before “SIN AND DEATH” enter the world.
According to Galatians 3: 26-29. They is neither Hebrew nor Greek in the body of Christ, only those that have received the blood of Jesus Christ will God made a new covenant with. Col. 2: 9-11; Ro. 2: 28-29. We are circumcised in our hearts, not with a knife this time, but with the Love of Jesus Christ when He cried on the cross Father forgive them for they don’t know what they doing. According to He. 10: 7-25 Jesus sanctified us with His blood forever and put His laws of Love in our hearts and in our minds, this is why we love Him first and able to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
When Jesus said it is finished, God entered in to a new marriage relationships with does that are born again, and wash they sins in the blood of the Lamb of God Isa 1: 16-18. According to Re 21:1-4. We will be in the New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. May the Holy Spirit blessing be up on His words in Jesus Almighty name Amen.
MARRIAGE OF TWO BELIEVERS. # 2.
Trust and obey for there’s no other way. Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
Now to the married (believers,) I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband. But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife. So He said to them,“Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”These passages only refer to “TWO BELIEVERS who are truly in CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.” 1Cor. 7: 2-5 ; 1Cor. 7: 10-11; Mk. 10: 11. Shalom.
MARRIAGE BETWEEN A BELIEVER AND UNBELIEVER. # 3.
But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.
But if the “unbeliever” departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under “BONDAGE” in such cases. But God has called us to peace. For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife? Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be loosed. Are you loosed from a wife? Do not seek a wife.”But even if you do MARRY, you have not SINNED.”
and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Nevertheless such will have trouble in the flesh, but I would spare you. But she is happier if she remains as she is, according to my judgment—and I think I also have the Spirit of God. 1Cor 7: 12-16; 1COR. 7: 27-28; 1COR. 7: 40.
MARRIAGE OF TWO UNBELIEVERS. # 4.
God’s Love towards the unbelievers, Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him,“Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them,“He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you? She said, No one, Lord. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more. In Christ you have the power not to sin 1Jh 3: 8.
Jesus said to the Samaritan woman,“Go, call your husband, and come here.” The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ for you have had “FIVE HUSBANDS,” and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly. Then she went back in her town proclaiming Jesus is the Messiah, but when the people saw Jesus they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the CHRIST the SAVIOR  of the WORLD.”
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. Please, try Jesus Christ of Nazareth, if you don’t believe in His words, trust me, the devil will always take you back. Jh. 8: 3-11; Jh. 4: 9-32; Re. 3: 20-22.
THE CONCLUSION ON DIVORCE. # 5.
The Bible is explicit about divorce and remarriage. In Deuteronomy 24: 1-4 Moses permitted a man to obtain a divorce on just about any grounds. If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house, and if after she leaves his house she becomes the wife of another man, and her second husband dislikes her and writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house, or if he dies, then her first husband, who divorced her, is not allowed to marry her again after she has been defiled. That would be detestable in the eyes of the Lord. Do not bring sin upon the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.
Later on, in the New Testament, when Jesus was asked about divorce, He replied that Moses gave permission to divorce because of the hardness of their hearts. As believers we should ask God to bless us with a heart of forgiveness, and stay by our mates regardless the situation knowing that the enemy is at work against our marriage. Before God, marriage is a lifetime relationship that should never be severed by human action. In the book of Malachi, God says that He hates divorce Malachi 2: 16. God’s perfect will is the preservation of society and future generations by the preservation of marriages. God will give anyone great help in sustaining a marriage relationship or in the reconciliation of estranged marriage partners. Specially in the case of believers.
In extreme cases, there are only two grounds for divorce and remarriage. When adultery has taken place, a divorce can be obtained, because adultery has already severed the marriage relationship and divorce is a formal acknowledgment of what has already taken place. Apostle Paul, taught that if an unbelieving spouse leaves a believer, the believer is not bound to the marriage relationship, “but is free to remarry.” 1Cor 7: 15. Except for these reasons, there is no justification given in the New Testament Bible for divorce.
As for the unbelievers, they are God’s problems, they are unplug from the source of life, wish is Jesus Christ, they going to do whatever pleases them, just like the Samaritan woman, when Adam sin death came upon all men, thats why Jesus make the statement let the dead bury the dead, some of the people were alive, but before God they were dead, because of Adam transgression. This is why Jesus ask His Father to for give them, because, He said the sinners don’t know what they doing.
Obviously, when anyone who believe in Christ who does not have biblical grounds for divorce remarries, he or she is technically committing adultery. What Should I say to two believers who divorced, remarried, and are now aware of what the bible says About divorce? Divorce is rampant in the United States, and it is rampant among Christians and non-Christians alike. There are some instances where people have married not once or twice, but three, four, five, or six times. Like the Samaritan woman, they have had a succession of mates, a succession of children, and a succession of problems. God is on the side of people. He loves people, and He understands what has happened in such situations. A minister of God must teach bible; How does one, for example, tell a three-times-divorced man to go back to his previous mate? What if the previous mate is now married. Myself I let the Holy Spirit deal with that case. Because, the Bible said only “blasphemy” of the Holy Spirit, is the only sin that is not forgiving, in this life and the life to come. According to Rom 3: 23, we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. And in 1Jh 1: 9, the word of God declare, that if we confess our sins, Jesus is faithful to forgive us our sins…And will cast them as far as the east is from the west. Amen.
To all the unbelievers, I will tell you to come as you are, Jesus will forgive you of all your pass sins, and blots out your transgressions, for His own sake, and “remember them no more” Isa 43: 25; Heb 8: 12.
In closing, believers and unbelievers alike, must reason with the Holy Spirit to find grace. Trust me He will always have compassion for you according to Isaiah 1: 16-18.“Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.“Come now, and let us reason together,”Says the Lord,“though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Let me remind some of the pastors, please, don’t think you more holy then God. It is by grace you are saved not because of anything you have done. Let us love each other more and leave the judging to the Judge. Jh 5: 22. Are you bound to a wife? seek not to be loosed from her. May the Lord richly bless you, with the knowledge to obey His words in all of your situations. May I remind you, the only sin that the bible say that’s not forgivable. Mk 3: 28-29 “IS BLASPHEMY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.” Thank you for your grace Lord Jesus, we love you. Amen.
