Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king,“O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors,“Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?”They answered and said to the king,“True, O king.” “Look!” he answered,“I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
Are you sinking fast? Call on Jesus. Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying,“It is a ghost!”And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying,“Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”And Peter answered Him and said,“Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”So He said,“Come.”And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying,“Lord, save me!”And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him,“O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying,“Truly You are the Son of God.
Jesus is not sleeping, ask Him to calm your storm. Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them,“Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.”And they launched out. But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying,“Master, Master, we are perishing!”Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. But He said to them,“Where is you. faith?”And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him.
Keep praying your agony has not cause you to sweat blood. Jesus went to the Mount of Olives, as He was accustomed, and His disciples also followed Him. When He came to the place, He said to them,“Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying,“Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground. When He rose up from prayer, and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow. Then He said to them,“Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation. Praying and fasting is the key to overcome all temptations. Lk. 22: 40-46. Stay bless in Jesus Almighty name Amen.
