Our beloved apostle John was in the isle that is called Patmos when he received a vision concerning the seven churches which are in Asia. Then his spirit was caught up into heaven. A door was open and he heard a voice like a trumpet talking to him, saying I am going to show you things that will happen after the churches of Revelation chapter 2 and chapter 3.
Now the things in the future concerning the last seven years of great tribulation, before the millennium were about to be revealed to John. You will not find the church mentioned as being on earth in Revelation chapter 4 and chapter 19. But the saints who were caught up in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verses 13 to 17 are mentioned as being before the throne of God, before the great tribulation started in Revelation chapter 5 verses 8 to 10.
And immediately he saw God sitting on His throne, and His appearance was like a jasper and a Sardius stone. And a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald, Around the throne of God were twenty-four elders redeem saints sitting on twenty-four thrones, they had on white robes, and they had crowns of gold on their heads. And from the throne proceeded lightning, thunder, and voices.
The seven Spirits represent the fullness of the Holy Spirit of God. Before the throne, there was a sea of glass, like Crystal. We are going to leave the four living creatures as God describes them to be, one thing we learn about them is that they do not rest day or night, saying.
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come. Whenever the four living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to God. The twenty-four elders or the saints fall before God and worship Him, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, you are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory, honor, and power, for you created all things by your will they exist and were created. To God, the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ be all the glory, by the Power of the Holy Spirit Amen.
